This is a virgin wood originated in Kawazu cherry tree. Its seeding was found at the bank of Kawazu river by Mr.Iida in 1955 and planted in his garden. Repeatdly planted at the riverside from this virgin wood, cherry trees are splendidly lined for a very long distance as we know it today.
